Our method of teaching is in conformity with the mental age of the children and thus varies from class to class. We introduce the children to learning by “playway” methods so that lessons do not become a burden on them. The idea is make books interesting and learning a pleasure. A large number of toys and assorted teaching aids coming under the Montessori teaching methods are provided for this. The system of education is far from being rigid and a relaxed atmosphere is maintained throughout.
The school also uses visual aids and taped music. The T.V. and DVD set is installed in the school. The school CD/DVD library has varied selection of educational films on animals, plant life, elementary science and safety. When the weather changes make it difficult for them to play outside, these keep the children engage. This kind of exposure triggers off children’s curiosity and provides an interesting and novel way of widening their mental horizon.
CLASS ROOM ACTIVITIES Vary from class to class dealing with oral work, written work, painting, singing, dancing, hand work &
